This is one of the handiest lights we have seen. There are 20 bright LED's powered by 3 D batteries. The neatest feature is that the head swivels 180 degrees so you place the lantern on a stationary surface and direct the light beam to exactly where it is needed (no proctologists' jokes meant). The next provides easy, balanced carrying, too. The only minor problem in our testing is that the little, plastic hook broke off, but it not designed adequately to support this much weight. Overall, this model achieved very high ranking.
