Katadyn Vario Water Filter

The Vario combines individual efficiency with the simplest possible handling. The technology it uses consists of three filter levels: a high-performance glass fiber filter, a ceramic pre-filter that can be adjusted individually according to the cloudiness of the water, and active charcoal for eliminating odors.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Multi-Stage Filtration System - A simple turn engages a ceramic prefilter for longer life in dirty water or a pleated glassfiber filter in normal conditions.
2. Fast Water Flow - Produces up to 2 qt (2 L) per minute in "Faster Flow" mode and 1 qt (1 L) per minute in "Longer Life" mode
3. Carbon Core - Replaceable carbon keeps water tasting fresh.  Reduces chemicals, odors and toxins through life of cartridge
4. Dual Action Pump - Dual piston technology provides maximum output with minimum effort
5. Adaptor Base - Attaches directly to water bottles or output hose can be used to fill hydration systems or larger containers
