A multi-purpose padded sleeve handles laptops or hydration reservoirs while a tuck-away belt is there when you need it, gone when you don’t. A unique bucket-style opening gives the Shrike hybrid functionality, allowing it to effectively work as both a panel loading and top loading pack. Organization is also a snap with two water bottle pockets, zippered stash pocket, and key fob. The woman specific Shrike suspension uses a HDPE frame sheet to give the pack some stiffness under moderate loads.
